ANASTOMOSIS is an exhibition of interactive new media + transmedia works that interrogate perceived truths that join realities together, marked by tangled relationships and obscured environments. Using sound, video art, physical installation and tangible / computational media, the works attempt to pull back a long running thread of beliefs, confessions and events that have been sewn into understandings. The objective and subjective devour each other: whether something is true or not, does it actually compel us to rework our pasts, reckon with the details and change our futures? What happens to us when what we know is stained, and what we don’t, we crave?

It featured 8 artists and was showcased in the POD student gallery from October 25th to November 7th, 2024.

I worked as the lead exhibition director for this showcase. I gave directions to a team of 18 people, selected the artworks that would be presented, created floor plans so that the pieces had dialogue with each other, set up the space, communicated with the gallery and ensured deadlines were met.
