I’m a creative technologist and emerging artist / curator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media from TMU. I’m currently based in Toronto.
My artistic practice involves working with light materials, such as paper and fabric, and embedding them into heavier material fabrication practices, like laser cutting and printing. Thematically, I’m drawn to decay and the regenerative, textural chaos of nature.
In the same way I find inspiration in interconnectedness within living systems, I see parallels in the communities built through making art. Community is what drives me the most and is what remains the heart of my work. While the concept and feeling of community actually feels a little tricky to nail down, I like to use Casey Plett’s definition: an ongoing space of encounter. I strive to create spaces – both working for and with artists – that feels inspiring, honest, responsive, and warm.
In my curatorial work, I’m heavily driven by cyberfeminism, specifically how that may look for POC. There is a very invisible but real and monumental amounts of labour that POC partake in that allow the tech industry to thrive on such a scale. With so much of the theoretical talk centering around disembodiment of the self in virtual spaces, I want to think more about who gets to talk about the cyborg and who actually lives it. I’m always going to dream of a hopeful and better future, and I also think that there is no way to show that better than through art, community, and connectivity.

I’m always open to collaboration! Reach out!
